Private Equity Real Estate (“PERE”) is a financial asset that is experiencing a significant international growth and that consists of non-listed direct real estate investment funds. PERE invests in single assets, portfolios and operating companies with a strong real estate component, generating returns via capital gains through an intensive value creation process. The average holding period are 2-4 years per investment and distributions are made upon disposal of the assets. PERE funds are newly created vehicles with a limited life, allowing investors to benefit all the value creation curve.
